"Sekitar jam 1 suasana makan siang, seperti bisa di tebak ramai nya kek mana ya. Sayangnya ketika saya datang dendeng nya habis-sepertinya menu best seller. Rempah2nya pedas apalagi sayur lado hijau ini. Bagi yang belum terbiasa sama masakan minang yabg serba pedas mungkin bisa coba opsi ayam kecap dll."

"Lokasi rumah makan berada di jalan kartini, kota pekan baru, Riau. Ketika kita belum mengenal suatu wilayah dan ingin menikmati makanan tanpa kecewa, ada tips dari orang tua saya dulu. Tips nya ialah pada saat jam makan cari rumah makan yang ramai, bila perlu samapai antri. Tips ini kami gunakan ketika melewati jln kartini riau dan saat jam makan siang. Pilihan jatuh pada rumah makan bukit tinggi, dari namanya jelas bahwa ini khas minangkabau. Kami parkir disebalah kanan jalan karena parkir sebelah kiri sudah penuh. Selesai parkir kami langsung menuju meja yang baru saja ditinggalkan pengunjung. Karena ramai sekali bahkan tidak tersedi munu yang dihidangkan di meja sehingga kami harus pesan nasi campur supaya cepat dan simpel. Setelah masing-masing kami pesan lauk sesuai selera. Saya pesan rendang dan teman-teman ada yang pesan ikan bakar, gulai baung samapi udang sambal. Suapan pertama saya langsung menyadarkan saya kenapa rumah makan ini diserbu banayak pengunjung. Rasa rempah yang kental dan sambal merah khas rumah makan padang membuat kami menyantap sepiring nasi campur ini tanpa sisa bahkan samapi menjilat jari-jari tangan ( berlebihan memang) kurang jelas juga apakah karena kami semua sudah lapar berat.... rekomended untuk kita yang ingin menikmati makan enak dan murah di kantong walaupun berdesakan"
